The Antonio Maceo Grajales publication fund on Afro-Latin American Studies

The Antonio Maceo Grajales publication fund on Afro-Latin American Studies offers targeted subsidies for the publication of books in the Afro-Latin America book series at Cambridge University Press. Subsidies, typically up to $5,000, are offered to offset publication costs of books that require large numbers of images and that make important contributions to the field of Afro-Latin American Studies. Funded with a generous contribution from Dr. Francisco Morán and Mr. Michael A. Mire, the fund is administered by the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research, Harvard University. Books that benefit from this subsidy will include the following acknowledgment: “Published with the support of the Antonio Maceo Grajales publication fund on Afro-Latin American Studies, Afro-Latin American Research Institute.”
