S.J.D. candidate at Fordham University School of Law, a Fulbright scholarship recipient, and a founding member of ILEX-Acción Jurídica. My research interests include the following themes: Race and the law in Latin America, critical race studies, gender and sexuality law, intersectional discrimination, comparative judicial systems, Afro-descendant representation in state institutions, and Afro-Latin American studies. My dissertation explores Afro-descendant underrepresentation on Latin American courts.
