Bronia Greskovicova-Chang oversees all program initiatives and administrative operations of the Afro-Latin American Research Institute. She is responsible for organizing the biannual Continental Conference on Afro-Latin American Studies.  Dr. Greskovicova-Chang also administers the newly created University Consortium on Afro-Latin American Studies. She joined ALARI in 2017 after having been an instructor of Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard. She holds a doctorate from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Among her publications is a book on Moroccan immigration and its relation to contemporary literature of Spain: El Fracaso de la Otredad y las Narrativas de la Frontera.
