Attorney specialized in Public Law and a Master of Laws, with an emphasis on Human Rights and International Law. I have extensive experience working on gender-based violence, racial discrimination, persons deprived of liberty, human rights violations in contexts of armed conflict, and HR litigation. I was a fellow of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, a legal adviser in the Presidency of the Senate of Colombia, and I was part of the legal team of the Penitentiary and Prison Services Unit of Colombia. Also, I had the opportunity to work at Ilex-Acción Jurídica, an organization dedicated to providing legal support to the Afro-Colombian population. Currently, I am a university professor of HR and a lawyer in the Amnesty and Pardon Chamber of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace.
