Chloe Ireton

Chloe Ireton is a historian of the Spanish empire with a focus on early Mexico, Colombia, the Caribbean, and Spain. Her current project explores the lives of free black individuals who became colonial settlers in the early Hispanic Caribbean, and traces black intellectual histories across the early Hispanic Atlantic world.
