Visiting Researcher at Havard’s Afro-Latin American Research Institute. PhD candidate and Master’s in Political Science from the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Researcher at LAUT, an independent think tank focusing on rights and rising authoritarianism in Brazil, where integrates the project ‘Reactionary movements and the new grammars of rights’. Conducts research focuses on political theory and Brazilian political thought, especially the history of Brazilian 19th Century political ideas and political languages and ideologies in contemporary Brazil. Co-author of the forthcoming book ‘The Law of the Bullet, the Beef, and the Bible: Democratic Political Culture in Disputes for Rights’ (in Portuguese).
